Find Your Town

Everything inside roughly an hour of Rockwall. If you are close to the edge of this list and not sure, call and ask. The answer is usually yes.

Rockwall

Our home market since 1995, and where most of our work still comes from a neighbour pointing down the street.

Roofing in Rockwall

Rowlett

Where the office is, on Lakeview Parkway. About as local as a roofer gets.

Roofing in Rowlett

Mesquite

A postwar suburb, so most houses are already on their second or third roof. What is underneath matters here.

Roofing in Mesquite

Garland

We know the local decking rule, which is the difference between a patched roof and a compliant new one.

Roofing in Garland

McLendon-Chisholm

Estate homes on acreage six miles southeast of Rockwall. Big, cut-up rooflines with a lot of transitions.

Roofing in McLendon-Chisholm

Sunnyvale

A small community just south of us where we already do a good deal of work.

Roofing in Sunnyvale

Heath

Custom homes on the east shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, where open-water wind and complicated rooflines come with the view.

Roofing in Heath

Wylie

The city between Lavon Lake and Lake Ray Hubbard, where a lot of roofs went on after the April 2016 hailstorm.

Roofing in Wylie

Royse City

Up I-30 from Rockwall and spread across three counties, from the old downtown grid to the new subdivisions.

Roofing in Royse City

Forney

Kaufman County along US-80, on open, flat ground where the wind does as much roof damage as the hail.

Roofing in Forney

Sachse

North of Rowlett and Garland, split between Dallas and Collin counties, with a lot of builder roofs reaching their age.

Roofing in Sachse

Anna

The northern edge of where we work: close to an hour up US-75, and one of the fastest-growing towns on the list.

Roofing in Anna

Do not see your town? We are often closer than the list suggests. Call 972-772-1999 and we will tell you straight away whether we reach you.

How far we go

It Is A Circle, Not A List

The honest version of our service area is a radius, not a list of towns. We work roughly an hour out from Rockwall, from the office on Lakeview Parkway in Rowlett. The twelve cities above are the ones we are in most often, not a fence.

There is a reason we keep it that tight. A roofing warranty is only worth as much as the company standing behind it, and a company can only stand behind work it can actually get back to. Stretching the map thin is how you end up being the roofer who does not return the call in year three.

Staying local also means the knowledge is worth something. We know which subdivisions took the worst of a given hail storm, and we know things like Garland requiring a full replacement once enough decking has to come off. That is the sort of detail that decides whether you get a patch or a compliant new roof.

Why it matters

What You Get From A Roofer Who Lives Here

After a big hail event, crews arrive from out of state, work a season, and move on to the next storm. Some of them do fine work. The difference shows up later.

  • An address you could drive to. The office is on Lakeview Parkway in Rowlett. Not a call centre, not a truck with an out-of-state plate parked outside a motel.
  • Local code knowledge. Rules vary by city. Knowing, for example, that Garland requires a full replacement once enough decking comes off is worth real money to the homeowner it applies to.
  • Storm memory. Thirty years here means knowing which storms hit which parts of the county and when, which matters enormously when a date of loss is in question.
  • Somebody to call in year three. A workmanship warranty is only as good as the company behind it. We have been at this since 1995 and we are not going anywhere.
  • The freedom to say no. We can afford to tell you your roof is fine and drive away, because our next job comes from your neighbour rather than from the next storm.
How the job runs

A New Roof, Without The Runaround

Whichever of the twelve towns your house is in, the job follows the same five steps, start to finish.

1

Free Inspection

Someone climbs up, photographs anything worth a second look, and tells you plainly whether it is a repair job or a new roof.

2

Written Estimate

An itemized price in writing, with your shingle and colour choices laid out. It only moves if rotten decking turns up under the old roof.

3

Scheduling & Materials

We set a date, order materials, and tell you exactly what to expect in your driveway on install day.

4

Tear-Off & Install

The old layers come off, soft or rotten decking gets replaced, and the new system goes on. A typical house takes one to two days; bigger, more complicated roofs take longer.

5

Cleanup & Walkthrough

Magnets go over the drive and the yard for stray nails, we walk the finished roof with you, and your warranties are registered before we pack up.

Two kinds of market

Our Service Area Is Really Two Different Jobs

East DFW splits fairly cleanly into two kinds of housing stock, and they fail in completely different ways. Knowing which side of that line your house sits on tells us where to look first.

The newer, growing towns…

  • McLendon-Chisholm, Heath, Royse City, Forney, Anna. Estate builds, acreage lots, a lot of construction in the last twenty years.
  • Big, cut-up rooflines with dormers and long valleys. More transitions means more places a roof can fail.
  • Volume building means rushed details: pipe boots, flashing at walls, ventilation cut short of what the warranty requires.
  • Open lots take the wind. There is no neighbouring roofline upwind breaking the gusts.
Here it tends to be the details, not the age.

The established suburbs…

  • Mesquite, Garland, Rowlett, Sachse, Sunnyvale. Postwar stock, built fast and built decades ago.
  • Most houses are already on their second or third roof, and some have a layer laid over the first instead of a proper tear-off.
  • Soft decking is the big unknown. Small leaks that went unnoticed for years leave rot behind, and a new roof should never be laid on top of it.
  • Mature trees and fifty years of soil movement backing fasteners out.
Here it tends to be the age, not the details.

Rockwall and Wylie sit somewhere in the middle, with both kinds of housing side by side. Either way the inspection is free and it settles the question in about twenty minutes on the roof.

Call and ask. It takes thirty seconds and the answer is usually yes. We are often closer than the town list suggests.

After the hail

We Navigate The Claim Process With You

Across these twelve towns, hail brings in more calls than anything else, so here is exactly where our part starts and stops. We are roofers, not adjusters and not attorneys: we talk about the scope of work on your roof, never about your policy.

  • Proof first. Dated photos of every bruise, lifted tab and bent piece of flashing, and a date of loss pinned down while the storm is still recent.
  • One point of contact. Name us as your contractor of record and we deal with the adjuster directly, including meeting them on the roof.
  • Scope of work, not policy. We argue for the right repair using code and the manufacturer’s instructions, and we submit a supplement if the approved scope misses something.
  • No false hope. When the damage will not support a claim, you hear that from us first.

What We Bring To The Adjuster Meeting

Documentation, not opinions.

What You Are Covered By

10-Year GAF Systems Plus

Backed by the manufacturer on the materials, and transferable once without a fee if you sell the house.

10-Year Workmanship Warranty

Our own warranty on the installation itself, which is the part a materials warranty never touches.

A Price That Holds

The figure on your written estimate is the figure you pay, unless hidden damage shows up once the old roof is off.

Where we are from

Rockwall Is Home Base, And The Circle Starts There

The office sits on Lakeview Parkway in Rowlett, and John has been roofing houses around here since 1995. Three decades in the same few towns is the one thing a newcomer cannot buy, and it is why we can tell someone their roof still has years in it and mean it.

A warranty is only worth something if the company is still around to stand behind it. That is why we keep the map this size instead of following every hailstorm four hours down the highway. Near the edge and not sure? Ring us. Nine times out of ten, we come.

Everything is better with Bacon.

Service Area FAQs

Homeowners and property owners within about an hour of Rockwall. That currently covers Rockwall, Rowlett, Heath, Wylie, McLendon-Chisholm, Royse City, Sunnyvale, Garland, Mesquite, Sachse, Forney, and Anna. The office is at 8126 Lakeview Pkwy, Suite 13 in Rowlett, and the circle is drawn around there.

Not necessarily. The list is the towns we work in most, not a fence. If you are close to the edge of it, call 972-772-1999 and ask. We will tell you straight away whether we reach you rather than string you along.

You get the same clear, written estimate wherever you are in the service area. If a job is far enough out that it would change anything, we tell you before you are invested in the conversation, not after.

Because a warranty is only worth what the company behind it is worth in year eight. Staying inside a radius we can actually drive is how we keep being the people who answer the phone when something needs looking at. It is also how we stay current on what each city inspector wants, which is not the same from Garland to Rockwall.

Yes, and there is no obligation attached, in every town on this page. We check shingles, flashing, valleys, penetrations, vents, gutters, and attic ventilation, then tell you plainly what we found. If your roof is fine, that is what we will say.

We do emergency roof repair throughout the service area. Call rather than fill out a form if water is coming in right now. The first job is stopping the water, then we look at the real repair in daylight.

Yes. Low-slope, metal, and TPO systems for commercial properties across the same area. The inspection and written estimate work the same way.

It depends on the week and whether a storm has just come through, so we will give you a real answer when you call rather than a promise on a web page. Emergencies move to the front of the line.
